All coaches of teams in mixed under 10s and boys under 12s and under 14s are invited to a short, 30-minute meeting to discuss changes to teams for the remainder of the Winter season.
The grading meetings will be held at the BARC on the morning of Saturday, May 11.
- mixed Under 10s meeting will be 9 – 9:30am
- boys Under 12s meeting will be 9:30 – 10am
- boys Under 14s meeting will be 10 – 10:30am
We do appreciate that everyone has other commitments on a weekend. If you are a coach in these comps but can’t make it to the meeting, please email vicepresident@bairnsdalebasketball.com.au with any thoughts or suggestions about player movement in your age division, or send along a co-coach or parent from your team.
At this meeting coaches will decide on moving a handful of players between to help make sure the remainder of the Winter season is as even as possible.
We will endeavour to make as few changes as possible.
Parents and players are reminded that players should expect to move teams from time to time, and that this is a normal and healthy part of our competition.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, players who were asked to move teams in Term 1 or to begin the Winter season will not be asked to move again.
Our hope is that no further changes will be needed for the remainder of the season, but we will make changes if it’s absolutely necessary.
