We’re looking for a dedicated Ford Aussie Hoops Coordinator to ensure our program can continue beyond Term 1, 2025. If you’re passionate about basketball and youth development, this volunteer role could be perfect for you!
Ford Aussie Hoops is an introductory skills program where participants grow, learn, and enjoy the thrill of basketball in a supportive and inclusive environment, while building their skills and understanding of the game through engaging activities and drills to develop skills, all while having a blast! Throughout the sessions, a big emphasis is put on teamwork and great sportsmanship, as well as individual growth.
The Coordinator plays an important part in preparing, coordinating and facilitating the program each term. Further details of the role below.
Commitment
Average of 2-4 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the Ford Aussie Hoops program each term
Advertise the program, open and manage the online registrations, communicate with families and the team of coaches to ensure efficiencies and smoothness
Support the Coaches to plan and carry out training sessions
Foster a positive and inclusive environment
