You might remember at the end of June, Taydyn, Will, and Brooklyn embarked on an incredible journey to the USA to participate in the AUSA basketball tour. Well, they are now back and Taydyn shared a rundown of the trip.
Their adventure took them to the cities of Las Vegas and Phoenix, where they experienced the thrill of playing basketball on American soil.
In Las Vegas, the trio showcased their skills on high school courts, facing off against some of the best young talents. The atmosphere was electric, and the competition fierce, but Taydyn, Will, and Brandon showed off the talent Australia brings, making their mark in every game.
The highlight of their trip was undoubtedly playing in Phoenix. The stadium there was a sight to see with an impressive 16 courts! Despite the scorching 40-degree heat, the boys gave it their all, demonstrating their dedication and passion for the sport.
Taydyn reflected on the trip, sharing that the best part was the personal growth they achieved over the two and a half weeks. His advice to aspiring basketball stars is simple yet profound: Get in and take every opportunity in basketball you can, participate in everything you can, put in the hours when no one is watching, and always try your hardest. Most importantly, have confidence and have fun.
The boys returned home not only as better players but also with memories that will last a lifetime, and they are looking forward to heading back there next year!
